back to Sheffield and have a 2 hours break
We continued with Sing 'K' in Sing Sing Bar
with all the staffs in Noodle Inn
It was 12 midnight at that time
Probably to celebrate 'Sai Lou's Birthday
and as a farewell to Cheryl

the 2nd Day of CNY 大年初二

Other than shopping
There is nothing for me to do during this CNY
So...
We - my housemates and I decided to spend our money
in Cheshire Oak Factory Outlet
somewhere near Liverpool

About 2 hours time
we reached our destination on 12noon
Initially, we planned to spend 3 hours only
In fact, we have spent more than 5 hours
Then we stopped by Manchester China Town to have our dinner

the 1st Day of CNY 大年初一

This day I suppose to have family gathering with all my relatives

and get many many 'ang pao'
but a bit different this year caused I didn't manage to go back

So, today I went to Meadowhall for a walk with my housemates
and a reunion dinner in Wong Ting Restaurant

Instead of having reunion dinner with my family on this day as usual

This year I have no choice but to get over this in UK
probably in my workplace
because all the table in the restaurant was fully reserved
This night all people were served with a special CNY banquet
with starters, main course and desserts
We even have few programs for the night
About half past eight we have lion dance performance
by Sheffield Chinese Community
It was an awesome show which wins the applause from all the diners
After that we have a singer to sing for us till late
Of course, it was English songs he sang
All around, everyone had fun this night

I have received 2 'ang pao' from boss and lady boss
These were also the only ang pao I get this CNY

the APPRECIATION

Just 2 days after final paper

It was the time also for some of my seniors
to be finished with their master
and back to Malaysia while some might come back
So I was here at Sheffield Train Station to send them off
Anyhow, I just wanna say thank you to them
for their caring and supports all the way during studies

One is from Xue Ling and the other one is from my ex-housemates
I was so so happy to get those
They have brightened my bored study mood

the EXAM'S THOUGHT

After two weeks of hard work and struggling (I suppose I was)
and yes, exam's over
So how was the exam goes?
Hmm.. Definitely not that easy
Rather I should say the style of study
is quite different back from college

Just a simple quote like previously
as usual lecturer will give some 'guidance'
and the answer often can be found in the lecture's notes
and that's the only answer which will be given marks
Contrary what we encountered now is that guidance still given
but the answer will much much depend on your research
how you evaluate and use it on the exam

Not sure whether is this the difference of study culture
or simply the difference of level..
But anyway I think the exam should be alright (hopefully)
So this is about my exam

Will not be updating the blog for couple of weeks onwards
mainly because I'm having exam on following weeks

12th - Project Management Practice
14th - Principles of Management
19th - Finance and Law
21st - Fundamental of Project Management

Hi!! 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Greetings for all my friends and family

So, the cake above was purposely baked by my colleague
to be eaten during our supper
This night was the busiest night since I worked here
2 sessions we have for this night
the 1st one was from 7pm - 9pm
and the 2nd was from 9pm to late
Both sessions were full of reservations
Apparently, I have stepped into the new year
in my work place with all the diners
Well, we had shouted for countdown
together we welcome a brand new year of 2009
and hand-in-hand they sang 'Auld Lang Syne' eventually

So say bye to 2008 and Hi!! 2009

Jan - Graduated from TARC with Advanced Diploma in Building (merit)

Feb to May - Worked for a contractor's company as site quantity surveyor

June - Departed to UK for Top Up Degree Programme

Sep - Graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with
Degree in Building Construction Management (Second Upper)

Oct - Started my postgraduate course
Msc in Project Management in SHU


Planning for year 2009

Continuing my postgraduate till Sep and in details
Feb - May will be having 2nd Semester study
June - Sep will be doing dissertation
Convocation will be on Nov
If possible, probably will be back to M'sia
either on Dec or next year Jan
